I have just deployed XenServer 6.5.0 on a physical box. I connect to it with XenCenter client. In the environment, we mount 5 x vDisk to the VM. Each vDisk is 2TB. The data is growing in those vDisk. Original, the VM can work well, but somehow, the VM cannot boot anymore and tapdisk failure occurred.

I found that after they were remounted i would get a error saying “ tapdisk experienced an error ” after a bit of digging around in the logs i found Server_helpers.exec exception_handler: Got exception SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_449: [ tapdisk experienced an error [opterr=No medium found] ], An error errno -12 is experienced at tapdisk _control_accept that can cause VMs to become unresponsive. This issue occurs when there are multiple I/O requests that lead the tapdisk scheduler’s uuid to overflow its positive integer range and becomes negative.
